Buying and selling becomes child’s play
In less time than it takes to sing Old MacDonald, you can be ready to list your items and browse our great offers. Follow our simple step-by-step guides below to get registered and start saving (and earning) on Australian Baby Bargains.
Register as a member
- Click ‘REGISTER‘ at the top right-hand corner of the screen, next to ‘Welcome.’ Choose a username and password, enter your valid email address, set your homestate, how your heard about us and click ‘REGISTER‘
- You’ll now be logged into the system. It’s THAT easy!
Submit your listing in 3 easy steps
Listing an item for sale on Australian Baby Bargains is as easy as one-two-three!
To get started, click on the green “POST AN AD” button at the top right-hand side of your screen. Then:
1. Select the category your ad is to appear in. Click “GO“
2. Complete the following fields:
- Title of your listing (this is what will appear in members’ search results)
- Price
- Keywords (great for showing up in search results – use a comma between each search term)
- Postage Options – if postage is available, your ad will appear in search results NATIONWIDE – A massive way to increase the awareness of your product for sale!
- Pickup location for those who are looking to pickup in person
- Phone number – You’ll get faster sales if the buyer can text/call to enquire, rather than email)
- Product type (New or Pre-loved)
- Item condition (be honest as it’s representing what condition the item is in and will influence the buyer’s decision
- Attach up to 3 images (5 for Premium ads) – you have 3 images so use them – the more detail the better
3. Choose your cost per listing, enjoy 14 days for FREE, or select “30 Days for $2.50” from the drop-down menu. Click “CONTINUE”.
4. Agree to our terms of listing, click “PROCEED” to post your ad, and it’ll go live on the site instantly.
Once your listing is live, here’s how it works:
- When a buyer is interested in your item, you’ll receive an email with their enquiry.
NOTE: Please be sure to ADD US TO YOUR CONTACT LIST to ensure sales enquiries don’t end up in your SPAM folder!!
- To respond to a buyer’s enquiry, simply reply to the email which will be sent directly to the buyer.

Found something you want to buy?
If you’ve discovered an item you’re interested in, simply make sure you’re logged in, complete the form on the right-hand side of the listing and click “SEND ENQUIRY” This will send an email directly to the seller. You’ll receive an email response and you can reply directly from your inbox.

We strive to keep things as straightforward as possible when it comes to buying and selling on the site. You shouldn’t have to keep checking your listings and watching for responses, or engage in complicated contact procedures.

How to change your password
- Go to ‘MY DASHBOARD‘ at the top right-hand corner of the screen
- Select ‘EDIT PROFILE‘ and go to ‘PROFILE‘
- Enter your new password in the ‘NEW PASSWORD‘ field and reconfirm under ‘PASSWORD AGAIN‘
- Click the ‘UPDATE PROFILE‘ button to confirm the password change
