It’s been a bad year for us. Hubby has been out of work for almost a year now, and I have realised that I may have to stop being a full time Mum to Miss 6 and go back to work after 14 years out. Money is tight, and as much as I would love to take Miss 6 to see fun musicals with a great cast, it is so hard to justify the cost. Who would I take, Miss 6, Mum and then I would have to see who would prefer to be left at home between my father and husband….could a 5th be taken?
I’d love to take my Mum & mother in law as our birthdays are all within a week of each other at the end of May so this would make a great birthday outing 🙂

It would also be a great night out for me with my sisters before my baby arrives and curbs nights out like that for a while.
OMG….i would have to take my sister, even though we were children of the 80’s we were both such huge fans of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, we had it on VHS and played it over and over and over again day after day after day, from memory i recorded it one night off of the tv onto a VHS my sister would have been about 3-4 and i would have been 7-8…..we knew all the words and songs off by heart, but i would especially love to take my 2 eldest Daughters with us aswell so they can feel the magic that we felt at their age (4,3) and to watch their little faces light up as they which the magic that is chitty chitty whilst giving me and my sister a chance to relive some of the happier times as a child. Truly Scrumtious was one of my favourite character and i love the toot sweet song (as well as chitty chitty) as a child.
I would take my husband, my 7 year old and my mum and me of course!! Been a hard year. Had our business shut down, had to sell the house and with that are finding it hard to find the extra money to do those extra fun things… Like go to a musical!! I know my son would be over the moon as every time we go down rundle st and see the banner he looks at it and asks to go.
My 17yr old daughter is BEGGING me to take her to see this show!
She is addicted to musical theatre!
But we have a new baby on the way & couldnt afford it this time 🙁
A nice girls night out before the baby comes would be fantastic & I would have a happy daughter too!
What more could we ask for! 😉
i would take my sister and my children as its not really hubbys ideal night out lol
I was lucky enough to grow up with a step father who loved musicals and opera and all live entertainment, it was wonderful growing up as a child being taken to a matinee or every once in a while to an evening show and watching something other people my age had no idea about. I am trying to do the same with my children now, they are aged 9, 13 and 15 and I was lucky enough to take them to see The Lion King, this was such a wonderful first time BIG musical theatre experience for them, they are begging to see another one, but the high costs of exceptional talent for a family is not a treat we can regularly indulge in, so it is on the wish and want of winning a competition that I can share the magic of this true fairy tale experience, before they are all to old to enjoy going out with their parents for the evening.
I would take my husband and kids! They would all love it!
Amazing prize, amazing show! Would love a night out with the 3 special girls in my life, my mum, my sister and my little girl who is 5 and loves to sing and dance. This would be her first musical, one she would never forget:-)
Would love a night out after having baby 1 sept last year and now pregnant with baby 2 due September this year! Wow am going to be so busy when the 2nd one arrives don’t think I will b having a night off ever again, well at least not until they’re at school 🙂 lol! Would take my husband, and 2 best friends who also need a night out and a break from the babies. What an amazing Mother’s Day present!
I would take my daughter and my ex-In-Laws. Sound odd? It is, but they are super beautiful people and treasure my daughter. All my fam is interstate so it would be nice to thank them for all they do for us. 🙂
I would love to take my two girls and my husband to this show. They would love to see a live performance and it was one of my favourite movies as a child.
So excited about this comp! Nice one ABB! 🙂
Would love to take my daughter she saw it on the news and got so excited asking to go but at $160 for the both of us to go it was unaffordable for us sadly. She has never been to the theatre so fingers crossed for us x

I would love to take my kids to things like this but just can’t afford it. Thanks for opportunities like this, it makes it possible for those who otherwise would miss out xx
My kids regularly watch the movie, so it would be great to see the play and bring the movie to life.
I would take my Mum and sisters, we grew up loving the movie 🙂
I would love my girls to see this!! And to do it in style would make mummy very happy!! Fingers crossed here!
I would love to take my family to see this show. I think it would be fantastic & a very memorable experience.
I would love to be able to take my grand daughter and her cousin, they would love to sing along with all the songs.
I would take my husband and kids as a surprise! We have been long time fans of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! but can’t afford tickets at present. Would be a dream come true!
I would love to take my daughter and grandaughter back to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. We went to see the show on Sunday 5th May but had to leave 10 minutes into show as my Grandaughter became ill. I would also take my son who couldnt come with us due to work committments:)
